1. Our role & scope
Nexovo unifies a business's customer conversations (across WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram and email) and helps it run search, advertising and marketing with the assistance of AI.
- Where we handle information about our own account holders and website visitors, we are the controller.
- Where we handle the messages and contact details of a Customer's end-customers — for example a person who messages a business's Instagram account — we act as a processor, handling that data only on the Customer's instructions and to provide the service.
2. Data we process
Account & contact data
Name, business name, email address, and login/authentication details of the people who use Nexovo on behalf of a Customer.
Connected-channel content
When a Customer connects an account they own, Nexovo processes the content and metadata needed to display and reply to conversations, including: message text and attachments, sender display names and platform-scoped user IDs, timestamps, and conversation/thread identifiers.
Marketing & performance data
Website, search-ranking, advertising and campaign data drawn from the analytics and ad accounts a Customer connects, used to produce recommendations, drafts and reports.
Usage & device data
Standard log data (IP address, browser type, pages viewed) and strictly necessary cookies used to keep you signed in and to secure the platform.
3. Platform (Meta & Google) data
Nexovo integrates with Meta (WhatsApp Business Platform, Messenger Platform, Instagram) and Google (Search Console, Analytics, Google Ads) using the official APIs, and only after a Customer explicitly authorizes access to accounts they own.
- We access platform data solely to provide the features the Customer has enabled — e.g. delivering an incoming Instagram message into the Customer's inbox so their team can reply.
- We do not sell platform data, and we do not use it for advertising unrelated to the Customer, or to build independent user profiles.
- Our use of information received from Meta APIs follows the Meta Platform Terms and Developer Policies; our use of Google user data follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
- A Customer can disconnect any channel at any time, which revokes our access going forward.
4. How we use data
- To operate the unified inbox — receive, display, thread and send messages on the Customer's behalf.
- To generate SEO, advertising and marketing recommendations, drafts and reports, which a human reviews and approves before anything is published or sent.
- To secure, maintain and improve the service, and to provide support.
- To comply with legal obligations.
We do not use the content of end-customer messages to train third-party AI models. Where AI features are used, content is sent to our AI subprocessors only to perform the requested task (for example, drafting a reply or an article).
5. Sharing & subprocessors
We share data only with service providers that help us run the platform, under contracts that require them to protect it. These include:
- Platform providers — Meta and Google, to send and receive the data a Customer has authorized.
- AI providers — e.g. Anthropic and OpenAI, to power drafting and analysis features.
- Infrastructure — hosting, email delivery and content-delivery providers.
We do not sell personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of our users.
6. Retention
We keep conversation and account data for as long as the Customer maintains its Nexovo account, or as instructed by the Customer, and then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period, unless a longer period is required by law.
7. Security
Access tokens and credentials are stored encrypted. Access is restricted, transport is encrypted (HTTPS/TLS), and inbound platform webhooks are verified by signature. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable, industry-standard measures to protect data.
8. International transfers
Nexovo is operated from Singapore and may process data on servers located in other countries. Where data is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards as required by applicable law.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. For data where a Customer is the controller, please contact that business directly; we will assist them in responding. For data where we are the controller, contact us using the details below. We handle personal data in line with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) and, where applicable, the EU/UK GDPR.
10. Data deletion & deauthorization
You can request deletion of your data at any time:
- Disconnect a channel inside Nexovo to immediately revoke our access to that platform account.
- Email us at info@entanglement.asia to request deletion of your personal data; we will action verified requests within the period required by applicable law.
- If you connected via Facebook or Instagram, you can also remove Nexovo from your account's Business Integrations / Apps and Websites settings, which triggers our data-deletion process.
11. Children
Nexovo is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
12. Changes & contact
We may update this policy from time to time; material changes will be posted here with a revised "last updated" date. Questions or requests:
